Jaqen leaves the only home he’s ever known because it has never once felt like home.
He arrives on Vaharis 6 with dreams of independence and a new life as a
member of the elite prison guard, but what he gets is a nightmare of
false promises and forced servitude under the command of criminals far
worse than most of the inmates within the prison walls.
Bash
arrives on Vaharis 6 with a job to do, but things become complicated
when he senses that the man he’s meant to rescue is his mate. He’s
always pictured a slow, romantic courtship with his future mate, but
that’s not Jaqen’s speed at all.
Fate had to take dozens of
twists and turns to bring them together, and they’re about to see that
it has a few more tricks up its sleeve.
